[Pen/Pencil Review] Hedgehog Pencil Sharper
This is going to be a completely ridiculous post because it’s been a rough weekend and challenging day thus far. We lost a good friend unexpectedly on Saturday. The world seems a bit dimmer without Casey Sledge in it. So, to try to return a bit of a smile and light – I give you […]
[Pen/Pencil Review] Adorable Stuff I Didn’t Need
Obviously I didn’t post yesterday. It’s a crazy week at work. Training and event planning and stuff – the blog suffered. However… I did do a teensy bit of shopping at Half Price Books this past weekend and got adorable stuff I did not need but had to have.
How adorable is this? I love these tiny notebooks with amazing artwork. But what’s better? The backs! Check them out…
The other purchase was a “notebook” of notepads, sticky notes and flags with a crappy gel ink pen. The selling point? The cheesy, hipster woodland creatures.
Seriously? How cute is this? I had to get both of them. The sticky on the notepads and flags could be stronger, but hey. It is what it is. Just join me in the AWWWWWW factor.
[Pen/Pencil Review] Pentel EnerGel Multi-Function Pen
Today’s pen blog is a multi-function pen. I don’t do these often, but this one caught my eye. It’s the Pentel EnerGel Multi-Function Pen from Tokyo Pen Shop. This is one of the Japanese offerings, not necessarily found in the US, except through online portals like Tokyo Pen Shop. This
[Pen/Pencil Review] Pentel EnerGel Euro Rollergel – 0.35mm
This week’s pen review goes back to Pentel. It’s the EnerGel Euro Roller Gel Pen in 0.35mm black ink. I’ve been gravitating to Pentel a lot – and Jimmy now has a blog for his Pentel P200 mechanical pencil series. We’re turning into a Pentel “family”. I don’t know what the EURO means in the […]
[Pen/Pencil Review] The Platinum OLEeNU Green Mechanical Pencil – 0.5mm
Today’s blog is another version of mechanical pencil from Platinum. This is the Platinum OLEeNU Lead Breakage Prevention Mechanical Pencil Green Body. At first blush, this is a typical mechanical pencil like the transparent one I reviewed before. It has a clear barrel with a frosted rubber grip and accents. Its diameter is a comfortable […]
[Pen/Pencil Review] Zebra Tect 2Way Light – 0.5mm – Light Green
Today’s review is a day late because I took a four-day weekend for my birthday. It was a nice, quiet, restful weekend that was exactly what I wanted. So besides that, let’s talk mechanical pencils. This one is from Tokyo Pen Shop and Zebra – its’ the Zebra Tect 2Way Light 0.5mm in light green. […]
[Pen/Pencil Review] UNI-ball Signo 0.28mm Retractable
Happy post-Convention Monday. I’m actually going to get stuff done (darn it!). This is going to be a mish-mash. One… don’t forget, Tokyo Pen Company in Iowa. Coupon Code RHONDAEUDALY gets you 10% off until the end of the month. I just used it myself for a small collection of stuff (yes, that’s a hedgehog […]
[Pen/Pencil Review] Sakura Ballsign Knock Gel Pen – 0.4 mm – 5 Color Set
Here we go. Pen review day. Woo hoo! I’m getting stuff done on schedule again! Let’s hope I can maintain! This is a multi-pack of Sakura Ballsign retractable gel pens in the 0.4mm tip. These are an interesting line of pen. These are slimline retractable gel pens but with a bow at the grip to […]
[Pen/Pencil Review] Faber-Castell Grip Plus Ball Pen
NOTE: This is a day late because I’ve been hitting the blog pretty hard lately… A few weeks ago a good friend (Hi, Tim!) texted me about his plan to start bullet journaling and asking me for a pen recommendation. Whoa. That took a minute to sink in – and was hugely flattering. Then we […]
[Pen/Pencil Review] Castell 9000 Perfect & National Handwriting Day
So I couldn’t do the WHOLE review in an image – but hey, National Handwriting Day! You need more info in a readable format. Also, as a long-time Phineas and Ferb fan and a SF geek, CASTELL 900 Perfect is an AWESOME name. The CASTELL 9000 Perfect cap is about 2.5″ long and comes with […]
