SPOKE WAY TOO SOON

Apparently I spoke way too soon last night after getting iTunes to FINALLY work again ONCE. This morning? Not so much – back to loading and freezing/not responding in 1 second flat.

The only “solution” iTunes seems to have is to create a new Windows User Account to see if THAT fixes the problem. Don’t really want to do THAT.

And that’s one “solution” more than Microsoft seems to have.

The weird part? My husband is having NO problems whatsoever with his iTunes on either his Windows 7 Pro or the Windows 7 Home Edition on the Netbook.

Wish I knew what to do. Hope I really like the versions of apps and music on my iPod Touch – it may be there for the rest of its life and mine. Until this is resolved, I’m going to have to get real adept at hitting pause quickly to skip over the Christmas music.

OH… I gave iTunes an earful. We did what Microsoft suggested and turned everything off in MISCONFIG. Yeah, iTunes is crapped out. NOTE: BEWARE of doing a “custom” start up in Windows 7. My Toshiba DID NOT WANT. Took us an hour to get it to actually run stuff – like ANYTHING.
