Overall Productive Writerly Weekend
There were some new words on a new story. There were even more plot bunnies.
I attended Dave Wolverton’s “Write that Novel!” workshop this weekend. And that just put the icing on the cake of inspirational butt kickings.
I will be writing more. I will be working The Plan. My gathering of first readers/copyeditors is actually coming together – ones who work for cookies while I transform my writing career into the one Wolverton says I should be able to have. I *like* what he had to say, now I just have to figure out how to make it happen. 😎
I was ready to leave the workshop early – not because I thought it was bad, but because I wanted to go DO IT.
I also needed decompression both nights, so I was able to get into the last of the ORAC meeting on Saturday – which was the hanging out and talking part. And catch the tail of the FenCon Meeting and go to dinner.
I have the last of the notes printed out. I’m about to head off to bed for a good night sleep.
Finger’s crossed I get my computer out of the shop and functional tomorrow – the netbook is tiny and not the mostest fun I’ve had with a computer. I want MINE back. Elder Cat hanging in there. Old Coot will out live us all…

I’ve been plotting and character building for weeks now. My plan was to start chapter one today.
Still staring at that blank page.
Work the plan, man. Work the plan. 😎
