I decided to create a new word tonight because I’m sleepy, a writer, and I can. 😎
Happy 43rd Anniversary to my parents. It’s good to see marriages surviving.
We bought tickets to see The Blanks in October at the McKinney Performing Arts Center. I love me some Blanks (aka Ted’s Band from Scrubs). 8th row, just off center. The weekend after I do the David McFarland/Dave Wolverton writer’s workshop. Those should be good for plot bunnies.
We have our first cover blurb for the new Redheads – Apocalypse Now! coming out in 2010. We’re working on getting some more.
Still recovering from FenCon. But have everything that HAS to be done this week done this week. So yay. You know all those mundane things that keep us going. Though I have written stuff that is not Day Job related – all in editing, but it’s creative and what I can do this week. Just like I’m not working out probably like I “should” but I am working out to keep in the routine. I’m doing what I can creatively to not break the inspirational momentum of being around other writers and creative types at FenCon.
Tomorrow is my last day of working extra hours to make up my FenCon time. YAY!!! I’m back to a typical routine after that. Notice I did NOT say “Normal”. There is no normal here.
Oh, and frugal person in me is giddy that we got ~$220 in groceries for $160 between sales and coupons, and with reward points, gift cards, and sales, the First Season on CASTLE for $6.50. ROCK ON.
And now it’s time for Benadryl, a Jack McDevitt novel, and bed with the windows open in the lovely (and temporary) Fall weather.

Glad you’re getting back to a typical schedule!
I’ve got a question about Fencon. Did the package make it into Mel’s hands? She’s not posted on-line since Fencon and I was wondering…..
Thanks for babysitting the package!
I know I saw her and told her we had it. Jimmy told her it was in ConOps. After that, we’re not sure what happened to it.
Cool!
