What I’m Reading #9 – Kenyon
My husband brought me a signed copy of Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Seize the Night (along with the matching journal.

I read the book in basically one day on Saturday after we hit the movies. It’s obviously a fast read. I had no idea about the series and found it a bit busy with gods, demons, Daimons (which I’m still not sure what those are), vampires, and vampire hunters – immortal and mortal.
It was a decent “Good Girl” falls for “Bad Boy”, with a few twists and turns and mortal danger. Also all the immortals are drop dead gorgeous. That never hurts.
This is somewhere in the middle of the series – but for all that it’s busy, it still isn’t impossible to read on its own. It would be better to have some back story — like I said, it’s busy and having history would let it make more sense.
