Evil Empire Confirmed

At least on the corporate level. For many, Wal Mart is synonymous “Evil Empire”, this should make you at least snicker. When I heard it on CBS11 (KVTV) this morning, Scott Sams (my most favorite morning anchor EVAR) almost had me choking on my toothpaste. So I had to go find confirmation.

I found it in a Associated Press linked story on the International Herald Tribune with this line:

The world’s largest retailer said Thursday that $934 million of the money went toward bonuses, averaging to $666 for each of the company’s $1.4 million [sic] domestic workers.

What better way to announce your evilness than by having your bonuses average out to THAT NUMBER! Even Bad Horse and Dr. Horrible probably wouldn’t be that obvious.
