[Writing Post] Technology Update
For those not on Facebook… there’s an update to the last post already.
Office Depot saw my posts on Twitter and sent me their social media/customer service email. So I shot them the link to the blog post this morning with some added context.
Within the hour, an “Executive Customer Service” rep sent me an apologetic email – which I thought ended it. It was an acknowledgment of the situation and an apology. Okay, that’s cool. Let’s save some face. No problem. Kinda all I really expected…
But wait! There’s more!
Within an hour of THAT, I get an email from the District Sales Manager apologizing for the treatment and “wanting to make it right”. Okay, just get my job done and done right. We can go from there.
The “go from there”? Not only will the job be done TOMORROW (Thursday) afternoon, they’re not charging me for the print job (which wasn’t small) AND offering to deliver the print job to MY HOUSE instead of making me schlep back to the store.

Okay… yeah, that’ll fix it.
I will continue to be an Office Depot Customer after this (darn skippy), just maybe back out at Eastchase and not Lincoln Square. 😎 Dude…
