[Pen/Pencil Review] Murder by Fred – the Post Convention Rerun
I mentioned I’d be doing a couple of reruns this month. This one was from July 2011…

I’ve seen the Fred line of products in catalogs before but haven’t ever gotten around to ordering any of them – no matter how cool. Fortunately for me, a brand new Sam Moon opened up in my county – and in their Luggage and Gifts store, I found Murder Ink.
These are the best post-it notes I’ve ever seen. The paper is in the shape of a stylized chalk outline body. The accompanying pen is white with a red paint splatter that corresponds with a hole in the “heart” of the notepad. The ink – of course – is red.
They’re very cool. They jumped off the rack and said, “Buy me” – and for a woman who’s best-selling piece of fiction to date is writing “Death”, it’s also appropriate. I don’t know how USEFUL it’s going to be, but they’re very, very fun and reasonably priced. And sometimes that’s really all that matters when it comes to office supplies.
