Whew…And You had NO IDEA
Though work will continue to be nuts for the next week, I do have tonight “off” – which means I’m not in the office. I’m in the home office. My desk has been cleaned out and more or less purged. There are still a couple of things to do. One project is going through at least a 4″ stack of business cards and putting people into Outlook. I’ve already done the ancient Rol-a-Deck (or whatever it’s called).
Now, for those who haven’t QUITE grasped the depth of my writing instrument…problem… Here’s about 90% of my “collection” – and yes, the shoe box (for a pair of women’s size 9.5 shoes) is completely full
And these don’t count the ones in my purse, at work, and some floating in a couple of other rooms, and some glass fountain pens and such in a box I need to clean out (hence the 90%). I will be doing a slight culling. Jimmy is making me a liner for our new stationary tray to use as a display drawer for some of my vintage fountain pens (which are are in the box with everything else).
To that end, I think I might start doing some pen reviews. Which last longer. Feel. Price point. Etc. It’s a way to continue justifying my “addiction” and an excuse to play with my pens and pencils. Maybe mention some of my “wish list” pens. See what happens.

I have that same writing instrument problem. I just can’t resist ’em.
I swear they follow me home – and for the most part – they’re less dangerous than drugs and alcohol, and cheaper than shoes, electronics, or cars. 😎
I have a couple that are a little more expensive than they should be.
I hear ya. I’m still holding out for a couple of the “nice” ones for when I finally sell book contracts and such.
