Under “Things I May Later Regret”

On a silly whim, I’ve decided to download and try out the Microsoft Office 2010 Beta (it’s free). As much as I’m not a fan of Office 2007 (and the first thing I did was change the “save” button back to .DOC format not .DOCX – never DID understand that). But I think it’s just a matter of finally getting used to the new “ribbon” thing. I’ve done it with EXCEL at my temp job, so it’s just a matter of dealing with it. Since that’s going to be the “default” on anything new in the future.

I’m still taking on companies who’s products are no longer working on my computer/internet. No news. Don’t expect news until after New Years – if then. Grr. You know, sometimes BAD customer service is STILL better than NO customer service. At least some folk are starting to miss me on Facebook. 😎

No one likes change. I know this – I live this. But sometimes necessary. Nothing like ending one year and starting a new one with new technological challenges.
