The Sign of Something… Big in the TV Universe

SCRUBS is picked up for Season 9 on ABC! They did a finale that could go either way (and made me cry), but I’m not ready for it to go!

And the BIGGIE… and yes, big fat SHOUTING…

FOX PICKED UP JOSS WHEDON’S DOLLHOUSE FOR A SECOND SEASON!!!!!!!!!!

Let me say that again… FOX picked up a JOSS WHEDON show for a SECOND SEASON!

What I read was this:

A lot of little money-making factors got together and ganged up (and probably slapped that puppy all up and down that dark alley) the Big Bully Ratings.

Fox finally looked at DVR numbers, DVD sales, and the fact Joss can produce high-quality, low budget stuff (and some other things) and pulled its head out of its collective orifices and gave something done by Joss another season.

And there is much rejoicing. Because I like the silly show. I’m glad it’s getting a shot. I’m glad JOSS is getting another shot. And I’m glad for one tiny nano-second it seems like the Creatives Won over the Bean Counters!!!!!

Congratulations to Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Joss Whedon, Eliza Dusku,et al for breaking the bubble!!!! You deserve it.
