So first off, it’s MONDAY. It’s going to rain off and on all day (yippee), but the most disconcerting thing about THIS Monday is that I came in to my Starbucks on time – if not early – and there’s someone camped out at *my* table AND my backup table.
I’m adapting. Not easily, but I’m adapting. Yes, I’m a territorial person…
But what do I discover with my morning email? A Google alert to a blurb on my story, in which same sentence, the awesome John Scalzi is also mentioned…
From Lon Prater’s blog…
* Hey! How did I forget to point this out! My story “Prelude to a Theme by Dougie Franz” is now up at Spacesuits & Sixguns, sharing TOC space with the irreplaceable Howard Waldrop (and giving me a fanboy headrush in the process.) Also notable, in light of Scalzi’s AMC column on Mad Scientists, is “Immense Dimension of Your Monster” by Rhonda Eudaly, who I think I may have met at some point, but I can’t quite place which con or where. 🙂
Go check him, and our stories out — if you haven’t already.
