What I’m Reading #8 – Scalzi

I told you I read a lot while he was gone…

After 3 JD Robbs in quick succession, I had to go back to Scalzi.

I discovered you should read the books in order. It’s not that they don’t stand alone, but I had to go check something at the end of Ghost Brigades because of what I already knew but would’ve made more sense if I’d read them in order.

Old Man’s War is pretty cool military sci-fi. Well thought out and put together. Good story, good characterization. You feel for the main character and the crazy things that happen to him.

I’m looking forward to reading the 3rd book when my husband gets done with it, and meeting Scalzi at ArmadilloCon in a couple of weeks.
